Perfetti Van Melle negotiation competition brings together 10 countries
Mission. Improving employees' negotiation skills to accomplish the goals of the upcoming negotiation campaign.
Solution. ManGO! Games online negotiation competition.
How did it go
The competition gathered 54 members of modern and traditional retail channels from Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Moldova, Armenia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan.
The event mainly aimed to enhance the participants' negotiation skills to achieve the desired results in the upcoming negotiation campaign.
Progress
During the five-week competition, the participants were to complete assignments from the company's experts. For that, unique cases were developed to simulate real-life scenarios in the sales department. After the preparatory phase, each participant had two cases to solve: one implied him as a supplier, while the other one as a buyer.
The negotiations itself took place on the Microsoft Teams platform. Each round was videotaped for further analysis and competency assessment by experts and other participants.
Each employee was to record his or her personal negotiation results in a progress journal. In the third week of the negotiations, the participants were invited to a feedback session with the coaches. After the meeting, each of them received a list of recommendations to consider.
Results
Not only did the competition help us refine the employees' invaluable negotiation skills, but it also provided them with new ideas and inspired for further growth and development.
