Symbols might at first appear a simple puzzle, but it quickly becomes challenging as you realize you have only one right answer and only one shot at finding it!

  • Each participant gets several magnetic cards with symbols, which need to be described in order to put them in the right place on the board. The players may only communicate verbally and are not allowed to show their cards to each other. As each of them has only one chance to give the right answer, both planning and effective teamwork become the issues of critical importance.
  • During the process, participants improve their communication and comprehension skills within a team while deprived of visual interaction methods.
  • The game is especially good for use in intercultural practice since it quickly reveals cultural and linguistic differences. It also teaches the participants how to find common ground with their peers and express themselves clearly and intelligibly.
